What is the difference between Pound and Sterling?

Three British Overseas Territories (Gibraltar, Saint Helena, and the Falkland Islands) also have currencies called pounds which are at par with the pound sterling. It’s a good idea to shop around, as exchange rates and commission fees can vary widely from one place to the next.
